Please arrive at Noon because I like to take a nap!

Then we can eat pizza, cake and ice-cream!

So Mommy can blow her diet!

There will also be my baby book to look through and sign!

And cutie patootie video of yours truly to watch!

Mommy can’t believe it has been a whole year since I joined the family!

It’s like I am growing up right before your eyes!

As I always do!

Okay so Thanksgiving is upon us. Now be honest with yourself and think what are you really thinking about as this season comes upon us. Is it ' I need to be giving thanks for what I have and what I can give' or is it 'I can't wait till Christmas until I can get' and 'just wake me up on the day after thanksgiving for all of the good deals'.  I started to come into this holiday all the wrong way. I started worrying about where the money was going to be coming from to buy the girls their gifts and all of the family their little gifts. I started thinking about our debt and how it feels we are never going to get out of this never ending mountain of bills bills bills. I started calling myself a grinch before I even saw my first christmas tree.

   However I am really challenging myself to be better and to be more God- centered this Holiday season. During thanksgiving I am going to give thanks for the things that are truley important. I will give thanks for my husband who works his 'you know what' off everyday and then comes home to help me with the kids. I will give thanks for my 2 wonderful healthy daughter who make me smile (and cry) everyday. I will give thanks for my mother, who against all odds brought my brother, sister and I up in a God centered home. And is a reminder to me everyday to not give up. I am thankful for the relationships I have with my brother and sister. I don't know anyone that has a great relationship with their siblings. I am so thankful for my church who is there for our family when we need them and we are there for them. For my friends that I call and bother almost everyday to hear me whine.

   These are the things that need to be talked about and discussed. Not what your going to get for someone for Christmas. Those things are material and will not be important when it all comes down to it. What is important are the people that you touched and who touched you. That is what you will remember not what you GOT for christmas of 2007...
